Thanks to the work of Douglas Parker and Lawrence Davis, the monumental inscriptions in Holy Trinity Church and the Methodist Chapel (including a few from Birdwood Chapel) have been collected and are available as either Excel spreadsheets or PDF documents (for which you will need Acrobat Reader). A plan of the churchyard is also available.

Anyone researching their family history from a distance is invited to email the Village Webmaster, who will put them in touch with local people who are willing to help.
